Aside from being a Stargate fan, I love the ancient alien astronaut theory. A little part of me has long held a fascination with the possibility of something being on the dark side of the moon.
Another artist friend helped inspire this piece, along with the memory of my mother's love of soap operas, particularly Days of Our Lives (for which I was born just a few minutes after it ended on that day).
And yes, glitter paint makes this painting truly sparkle.
